Application and Effect
It is a fluorescent probe that contains a nitrobenzoxadiazole (NBD) group, which exhibits strong fluorescence properties. The aldehyde group allows for the specific labeling and detection of biomolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids. NBD-aldehyde is often used as a reactive dye in assays for detecting and quantifying protein or peptide conjugation reactions, protein modifications, and protein-protein interactions. It can label free amino groups on proteins or peptides, forming stable covalent bonds. This makes it useful for applications such as immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and western blotting. The fluorescence of NBD-aldehyde can be excited with ultraviolet or blue light, and it emits green fluorescence. This property enables the visualization and quantification of labeled biomolecules using fluorescence microscopy or spectroscopy techniques.Product Packing:
