Application and Effect
Omesartan is an efficient and selective AT2 antagonist. Omesartan axetil has a strong antihypertensive effect. After oral administration, it is completely de esterified in the small intestine wall and converted into the active metabolite Olmesartan. Olmesartan is a chemically selective non peptide angiotensin II receptor antagonist that selectively blocks the binding of angiotensin II to vascular smooth muscle AT1 receptors, thereby blocking the vasoconstrictive effect of angiotensin II.Product Sample
